Went to see K19: The Widowmaker with James this afternoon. We both really liked it and thought it was one of the best submarine movies we had seen. But we got to thinking that there really haven't been any bad subarmine movies. Das Boot, Hunt for Red October, Crimson Tide, and even U571 were all good films with the first 2 being overall great films. Anyways, we also ate and went over to Aaron's.
Myself, James, Aaron, and Kiakha are still playing through Gauntlet. Our characters have maxed out all their stats at 999 and were all at pretty high levels. I believe Aaron and I are at level 82 or 83, James at 79, and Kiakha at 78. It's great, my player is a dwarf warrior. He's black, where flamboyant yellow and white hammer pants, has this poofy yellow shirt, has this Don King/Jay Leno blend hair that's 3 feet tall and white and yellow, he's half the size of everyone else, he holds this giant glowing blue sledgehammer that kicks the crap otu of anyone, and he has this special move where he mounts a teammate and rides them around (complete with music and horse noises). Speaking of the special moves, after playing halfway through the game we realized there were these combo moves. My guy serious jumps on a teammate and rides him around, killing anyone he runs over. Aaron's character grabs a teammate, rolls him up into a ball, and throws him around like a pinball. Kia's and James both pick up their teammates and swing them around in different fashions. We're going to beat that goddamn game I tell you. One day!
So tired now. 4:18 am. Yaawwwn.

Tycho and Gabe say some funny shit over at Penny Arcade:
"Through the virtuous MadMan and his humble cafe, we were alerted to an article on ExtremeTech detailing GameSpot's new Download Manager Assisted Download of Download Download technology which is - in effect - a digital penis cocked and ready to penetrate your rights."

Picked up my SGTW pictures today after work. About half of them came out decent enough to post, so I'm going through and putting them together on a minisite. I'm about halfway through but I'm heading over to Aaron's in a minute, so I'll finish tomorow. So far this is the best picture:

Pretty, pretty pandas!

Went over to the Albin0's house tonight to watch that TNT movie Door To Door which I had taped and he had Tivo'd. Was a pretty interesitng film, especially this tree that was trimmed down one side as to not invade the neighbors yard. It looked odd just sitting there like half a tree. It was also funny watching him and his dad try to run some cable through the ceiling for their cable modem/network stuff.
Aaron told me this afternoon that Kia said a package had arrived at his house, a big box. I figured it was the stuff we ordered from this music store. As it turns out my harddrive already had came. Pretty good that it came this afternoon when I should have gotten it this upcoming Friday. So now I sit here having already formatted it, just waiting for scandisk to make sure everything is ok.

Yesterday I couldn't get a slurpee at my normal 7-11 because they had the machine pulled out and the next 7-11 had some really shitty look stuff. But today my normal 7-11 had one of the best slurpees I've had in months. Mmm. Vanilla Coke baby!
Aaron, Kiakha, James, and myself have been playing through Gauntlet on A's Xbox. We're through 2 stages (10 levels) with 6 more to go. A few more get togethers we'll have it finished. I think everyone hates NHL Hitz now, since I completely dominate them. Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. It was funny though...James didn't want to go to Aaron's because of the incident with his mom the other night. She wasn't home so we ended up going there and watching Imposter. I think they should have stuck with the 37 minute short film. I could elaborate, but I dont want to waste more time then I already have for that movie. Aaron's grandma is crazy. Everyone knows it. Josh (Aaron's brother) is a dick. I dont know if he was trying to put on a show because we were all sitting there, but it was rather comical watching him scream at her. Apparently he also pushed his sister, and his mom heard it on the phone or some wierd shit, so when she got home WWIII broke out. Poor James. He was so uncomfortable sitting there as Josh and Aaron's mom argued back and forth trying to prove who was a bigger drug addict and worse person in general. She told him to get out of her house but I dont think he ever did. Later she came around and said he was threatening to kill himself. She even apologized for him being an asshole. Poor, poor James.
Work was ok today. Got to work a bit on business cards. I must admit I think the one I did came out really, really well. It would have been even better on white cardstock rather then the wierd off white we had. Too bad I also had to work more on another website that still isn't finished.

I'm glad at least Chris understands what's going on. Too bad he put destral.com as my site. Jerk. =)
Tonight was strange. Aaron's mom apparently doesn't want any of us over there. Aaron can't have friends 2 nights in a row. Would have been nice to know of this before we stopped at his house, left to get videos and games, came back and then were kicked out.

With the exception of a handful of people, the members of Vegasgoths are the biggest group of fuckup retards I know. They complain about their scene but they are the source of the problem. I like how a guy tries to create an 18+ night, asks people who want to DJ, ignores those who email him, then picks 3 others who probably aren't as popular as some (and one who has next to no experience who had someone else create a demo for him and who plays music no one gets into), gets pissed off when no one shows, and wonders why. Then when it is pointed out that just because its 18+ doesn't mean people will show, the scene that didn't care enough to show up for the event make immature ad hominem attacks at the person who pointed it out. It's kind of funny. I wonder why nights get shut down every few months. I guess it's their problem though. If they want to make nights, not go, then complain about not going only to complain at people who comment about people complaining about not going (if that makes any sense...hah) so be it. I'll have to stick to playing the xbox I dont own with Kyle and listen to more Cradle of Filth and such. Got to love ad hominem attacks.
Anyhow, went over to Aaron's house again tonight with James and we played some more Xbox with Kiakha and Aaron. I think people who are apart of Vegasgoths work at Blockbuster, or at least they graduated from dipshit school together. Yesterday they had the wrong game in the box. Today they said they had a game in stock and would hold it for us. We get there and they can't find it. "Oh someone must have took it." Funny, but how did someone take it? Did they steal it? Seems unlikely. So the people at the counter knew they were holding the game for a person, and rented it out anyway? Great...but they did offer us a "rain check". What good does it do to hold a game for us when it comes in a week later? Not any good for us...
So we ended up playing Cel Damage, some baseball game which really sucked, and Gauntlet.
Fuck reading Vegasgoths pissed me off. Especially that stupid fat fuck Brian Dirk. He doesn't even make sense in his posts and all he does is try to say the opposite of me regardless of what it is and how stupid he sounds doing it. He tries to talk like he's an educated man...a master of language. What the fuck ever. Someone is trying way to hard.
Now that I think of it. I wonder if James gave Jonathan the demo cd that Aaron made for him, because James is too big of a moron, before or after he supposedly got 15-20 requests to DJ.
On an unrelated sidenote. Lynda is right about Kristyn. Moving to Oregon to go to school and try to find a job is not the greatest of ideas. If she can't find something here where there actually are oppurtunities, going to Oregon where there is no job market will be a horrible experience. James (Davis) just found that out the hard way by going into huge debt from school and failing to find any source of employment.
