Today started good. Had a rough patch. Now is looking good again.
Work was ok. Nothing good or bad really, just work. But then I went to a few stores and finally found the gift I was trying to get for a certain person. Then I went to Compusa and got my new printer. Damn it kicks so much ass. Anyhow, on my way home I stopped to get gas. After putting some in the tank I go to start up my car to no avail. It made a little clicking so I figured it might be the battery. I give it a few minutes and try again, nothing. So I go to the payphone and call home to let my mom know whats up. Since my dad is at work she calls AAA or something and tells me to wait. So I go back to the car and figure I'll try again...nothing. But as I remove the keys the car starts rolling. Somewhat strange as I'm in park and the car has not started. So I apply pressure to the brake and nothing, just sort of half catching. Keeps rolling. Since the car was at the pump maybe 10 feet from where the lot ends I didn't even think of trying the emergency break in time. At a slow crawl I bump the curb, roll up, and push into a tree. Luckily no damage to the car. Of course after this incident the car starts. So I try putting it in reverse, but it can't hold on the gravel to push itself fast enough in the 4 inches before the curb. An employee at the station walks over with another guy and we strategically position rocks in order to make a little grade up over the curb. I floor it in reverse, go over the curb, and stop. Of course I half pushed the tree out of the ground with just the weight of the car since it was a little bitch tree. So they wanted my license/insurance stuff. Anyways not a huge deal as my car seems to work just fine now, but a big inconvenience since it was rather warm out. Now I'm at home, my printer working so well. Found out I can get my eyes rechecked and get myself some new glasses for only $10 because of our insurance. James called me and told me of a class I could take, and it ended up working perfectly in the slot I had saved for 1 last class AND it fills a requirement and doesn't look challenging. Aaron even got in and now the class is full. Soon I will be eating some delicious home cooking and heading out for the evening.

I dont know what was wrong with today. While nothing hard, challenging, or bad happened today...I was just irritated by it. So many little things bugged me that really shouldn't have.
I think tomorow we're going bowling for Aaron's belated birthday gathering (and by gathering I mean James, Kiakha, myself, Aaron -- it's one of those mixing friends things).
I determined which printer I'm going to purchase, and Kyle is even going to chip in. Granted I'm paying for the majority of it, but I'm surprised he's actually helping pay for it. Not that I need the help though. Maybe he'll also repay me the money he owes me.
WANG!
It had to be said.
Please usurp my hot jets of meat...

I've been trying to find the name of this cheesy robot/mech fighting movie for years now. I saw it quite a long time ago. But having nothing to go on I thought I'd never find it. But bringing it up in casual conversation with Ben on Saturday he through out 2 titles (the movie and it's sequal). Since I was bored I looked up the movie online and as it turns out...Ben knew what I was talking about.
Woohoo!
Crash and burn!

Saturday a few of us got together to go see Signs. It ended up being myself, James, Ben, LJ, and Chris Singer. After the movie Kia joined us for food at T.G.I.Fridays. Played some pool following that, and around 11:30 everyone called it a night and split. Except James and I. We went to blockbuster, exchanged my games in, and rented 2 movies. He had some alcohol around so we experimented with a few drinks, except we had to stop at my house and get my Xbox and blender first. Who doesn't have a blender at their house? Signs was a very good film. It had a bunch of little things in it that I liked.
Jimmy called me this afternoon. Apparently something happened at work. I'm not sure what exactly happened, but I guess I'll find out more tomorow morning.
