Ah yes, the first post on my new computer. Damn this thing kicks so much ass. I just got done playing some Unreal Tournament 2003. It looks great. The problem I had with the original UT was that it was at times almost too slow, and Quake III Arena was retardedly fast...UT2k3 is a nice blend between the two. The new version has a lot of revamped versions of old maps, a good assortment of weapons (including some favorites...and the most badass lightning/rail/sniper rifle that zooms in so well), and some super outdoor environments.
Yeeeeee!

I have the "newer" cable modem in now. It's not new, but its the model Cox has been using for awhile now. I'd had the cool one that Prime Cable used years ago. Oh well. I also have the upgraded speed thing, 3mb/256kb. Except I think Cox hasn't actually capped it correctly yet. I was averaging around 3.5-5mb down and 300k - 550k upload. Thats considerably faster then what I should have been getting.
I downloaded the 3 ISO, 1.8gb Linux Mandrake in well under 2 hours earlier this evening. I'm downloading Redhat 8 now.
I also ordered a chair for myself, since I'm letting my mom use this one at the desk she setup for this computer when I switch to my new one.
Music Non Stop also sent me my copy of Fragmente 2 today. Too bad I still have no idea where Kompendium is or the *ITEM NAME REMOVED* Aaron was getting through my order.

Well this was a good weekend.
Friday James, Singer, and I went to Chili's and then we saw Moonlight Mile at Collonade. James had an accounting exam Saturday morning, so we called it an early night and got together again Saturday afternoon to watch the Oregon State/UCLA game. This was the only down note of the weekend, with OSU getting beat. The three of us also went to the UNLV/UNR game, and Ben was there from Reno. UNLV even won the game...hot damn. Afterwords we found Ben and went to TGIFridays. Sunday we watched the Cardinals win...another shocker. We even managed to drag Kiaaron to see Red Dragon Sunday afternoon. Oh ya, and the Yankees are out of the playoffs!
Moonlight Mile was an outstanding film. Red Dragon was on the same level as Silence of the Lambs, totally destroying Hannibal. Ralph Fiennes was very eery in his role, and very effective. Ed Norton is always good. Anthony Hopkins of course was his usual Hannibal self. There was even a burning man in a wheelchair flying down the street!
WoooO!
