James and I watched the first 8 hours of the HBO miniseries "From the Earth to the Moon" yesterday. Not bad, there are 1 or 2 really funny episodes which kind of threw me off. It's not that I'm still working on the new layout...it's that I just never get around to working on it. I'm also trying to resolve some issues with server stuff.
Goddamn Notre Dame keeps winning and the Wolverines got spanked today. I swear to god I bet UNLV wins tonight just to spite me.
Fuckers.
I got Xbox live the other day. Played a few games of NFL Fever online against people. The voice thing I'm indifferent on, and I don't even put the headphones on. I'm sure when I got my ass kicked my some 12 year old who was playing as the Packers against my Arizona Cardinals he was laughing his ass off. Goddamn Jake Plummer sucks in video games. Oh wait, he sucks in real life too. But he's got heart damnit! Give it up Kris.
James won tickets to see...Lonestar! Oh ya, I was enthused too (gratuitous eye rolling). He had no one to go with him so I agreed. James was questioning why it was being held at the Joint, as it is not normally a country venue and it is a bit small. I kid you not, but there were less then 100 people there. It's not like Lonestar are nobodies. They are one of the top country acts out there and they have several platinum albulms. James also had pre-show backstage passes. Now this is where the story gets interesting. I had decided to wear my normal all black and I wore my SGTW shirt. As you might have guessed by the band name, Lonestar is from Texas. So when James and I were back there I commented "So, you guys are all from Texas eh?" To which they all replied yes. I asked them if they were all Cowboy fans...which they were. I'd like to point out James was wearing a new Arizona Cardinals shirt he got at Galyans early in the day and the Cardinals beat the Cowboys in a horrible game Sunday. The band was in a good mood, joking around and being friendly. But then I pointed out the game, "Tough luck against the Cardinals Sunday man," with a smirk on my face. The room fell silent and they all gave me dirty looks. It is good to know that I pissed off a country band. It salvaged the entire night just to see the looks on their faces.
Ya I'm the man.

The Lions AND Cardinals won today. What the hell is going on in the world!
Knockaround Guys was better then expected. Vin Diesel was comical with his super-jew motiff. He had a massively large star of david tattoo'd on his arm, a star of david necklace, and 2 star of david rings. Sort of funny to see as he's beating the hell out of a guy. Almost as funny as a scene in Boomtown tonight when a suspect is running from a black detective named Fearless (who evidently played Bubba in Forrest Gump) and the suspect yells something along the lines of "Help help a black man is trying to steal my wallet!"

Today was good.
Michigan beat Purdue
UNLV beat BYU
Redwings beat Minnesota Wild
UCLA lost
Oregon lost
The Ring was spectacular. About damn time there was a film in this genre that wasn't craptacular (I'm sorry but Blair Witch was shit). To bad Aaron was a little bitch and was too "tired" to go.
