Most excellent. Michigan kicked the shit out of Michigan State, 49-3. Then, Notre Dame finally lost a game to a not-so-great Boston College.

You know what the problem is with my rooting for Michigan still...the games are always on at fricking 9am on Saturday morning. So do I watch the game or sleep in? Damn!

I'm semi-dissapointed right now. I guess I'll have to wait and see how tomorow turns out.
Good news though...Xbox.com emailed me to remind me to make sure my mailing address is correct so they can send me the full retail version of Xbox live when it launches. I was curious as to whether or not I would get the new kit or if they'd keep me with the beta version.

Do I have to be sick for the days leading up to our midterm in Criminology? I mean the exam shouldn't be that hard, but it's going to be harder now that I can barely focus or stay awake. God damnit anyhow.
I better be feeling better by Saturday.

Fucking Arby's. I think I got food poisoning there today. It's the first time I remember vomiting in years...

I've decided to writeup my feelings on some of the main parts of the election. I only hit the main questions and the main seats that are up.
Congressional Seat District 1
I'd vote for Boggs-McDonald because she is Republican and I hate Shelley Berkley's angry bull-dyke appearance. Man that is a horrible reasoning...bwahaha!
Congressional Seat District 2
Jim Gibbons, he's the incumbant and I've never even heard of his opposition.
Congressional Seat District 3
Oooo the choices. Why in the hell would I vote for the morally bankrupt Dario Herrera. That man just pisses me off. There is only one small detail I do not agree with Jon Porter on, but after thinking about it for awhile I realized I was probably wrong. I'm still confused as to by Rudy Guilliani has a tv spot out supporting Jon Porter. It's got to be a party thing... Gooooo Jon Porter!
Governor
Kenny Guinn
Lieutenant Governor
Lorraine Hunt
Question 2
Shall the Nevada Constitution be amended to provide that: “Only a marriage between a male and female person shall be recognized and given effect in this state?”
I would vote Yes for 2 reasons. First, I feel that we shouldn't decide to change how history has always defined marriage as between a man and a woman. I hate to say it, but religion plays a large role in the definition of marriage and that is a big reason why I feel this will pass. Secondly, if this amendment is not passed, Nevada would be subjected to go along with whatever other states might define as marriage (as explained on the sample ballot). I don't think gay people should not be able to recieve the same benefits as a "married" couple, but I feel they should instead institute another amendment, perhaps using the term 'civil union' or something only for technical purposes. If for common use they still wan't to be referred to as a "married couple", so be it.
Question 9
Shall the Nevada Constitution be amended to allow the use and possession of three ounces or less of marijuana by persons aged 21 years or older, to require the Legislature to provide or maintain penalties for using, distributing, selling or possessing marijuana under certain circumstances, and to provide a system of regulation for the cultivation, taxation, sale and distribution of marijuana?
Definetly a no on this question. The problem isn't the legalizing or decriminalization of marijuana, but the wording of this question. Medical marijuana is already been approved, although Federal law still is against it. The only benefit of this question would be the distribution centers and system to regulate the sale of marijuana. However, nowhere does it have any provisions for only medically prescribed marijuana. Anyone over 21, responsible or not (same with alcohol), could go to these stations and purchase marijuana. Now if there was an amendment that did essentially the same thing, but set stricter guidelines so that only those who have prescriptions could use/purchase the marijuana...then I would be all for it. And don't even start spewing that bullshit that it isn't a gateway drug or even how European countries have had success in similar amendments. Last time I checked, Nevada and the US is not a European nation and there is nothing to suggest that we would have similar results. Did anyone read the article in the LVRJ that was in favor of Question 9 and tried to convey it's point by writing about how you should avoid anal gangbangs in prison at all costs, you shouldn't feel ashamed about engaging in anal sex in prison, you should avoid sex when your anus is bleeding, and you should probably learn how to give oral sex in order to avoid being anally raped. What the fuck? Damn potheads. =)
Question 12
Should the Clark County Board of Health be able to adopt regulations that are stronger than state law in order to protect people from secondhand smoke? (This does not include businesses that exclude persons under the age of 21.)
No. I like how this question implies that people in Clark County are entitled to cleaner air then the rest of the state. Ya this is a county question, but still. The more the state deviates from the federal government and the counties deviate from the state, the more problems will arrise.
Question 13
Should secondhand smoke be completely prohibited by state law in places frequented by children such as schools, grocery stores, restaurants, and government buildings?
No. It isn't that I'm not against smoking, and I do not smoke. But I'm sick of the cigarette nazi's. Do the "Truth" commercials piss anyone else off? Establishments can already choose to prohibit smoking if they choose. Been to a Burger King lately? They do not allow smoking anymore. Most places have designated smoking areas and I don't recall schools having a smoking problem (with the exception of the UNDERAGE SMOKERS!)

MNS finally sent me my order. I enjoy Wolfsheim alot, but goddamn if they aren't one of the worst live performers. They sound good at least, but they are more boring then Mesh.
Seems as though Saturday has been tentatively planned for my birthday gathering. Food, bowling, probably xbox later.

Finished watching From the Earth to the Moon yesterday with James and Singer. The last few episodes just got wierd. I honestly don't know what I think of the series as a whole. There are 2 really good episodes, 1 incredibly funny episode, a few excruciatingly boring movies, and 2 that are complete crap.
Also watched Stigmata and Clive Barker's Saintsinner on Scifi when I got home. I like Stigmata, except the ending is eh. Saintsinner on the otherhand is the worst movie ever. 2 nasty ass sisters are succubi who have traveled through time to the present and some nobody monk is trying to stop them. They have some disgusting scenes where they are half naked, since they act like prostitutes, and they get the men into these wierd coccoons where they construct these large tubelike objects to eat their insides. The sad part is they make it look like they are performing bad oral sex on them or something.
Damn crappy movies.
