Got around to seeing a few movies I previously hadn't this week. Spiderman, Traffic, and Amelie. Spiderman was entertaining enough I suppose, although it was very cheesy and the special effects seemed to hurt it more then it helped at times. Typical comic book ending. Lame. Traffic seemed overrated to me. Too many independent story lines trying to weave together and then not really pulling it off. Still not quite sure how Benecio del Toro won an Academy Award for his role. Amelie on the other hand, was great. I don't even really know how to describe what I liked about it. Just was good.

Xbox Live launched Friday and I got MechAssault. MA kicks alot of ass. It's simple, entertaining, and the multiplayer is as much fun as Halo. With Xbox Live MA allows 2 people to actually connect from the same box, although only 1 person can use the headset thing and account. It uses a "guest" login type thing. I'm not sure if other games allow more then one to hookup from the same Xbox, but the demo of NFL Fever 2003 only allowed one. Should be interesting to see. I think it would be neat if 4 people could play on 1 Xbox against 4 people from somewhere else....in any event MA runs very well online. I experienced no slow downs whatsoever in the quick game I played. I'm gonna play online some more later.

I actually tied 1 and 3...with the rest of them only 6 points difference.

1 You desire order, for everyone to agree with you. Impetus - deficit and/or excess of affirmation in your life experience. Problem - it is impossible to have everyone agree with you no matter what views or roles you adopt.

3 You desire acclaim, for people to notice your achievements. Impetus - deficit and/or excess of esteem in your life experience. Problem - you can't win everyone's esteem no matter what you achieve.

Some people are just funny. But not funny in a "ha ha" kind of way. Just sitting in criminology reminded me of this. I love it when someone unintentionally humors me. Unfortunately now I have realized that there is only a handful of people I can even tolerate on a regular basis...and an even smaller elite group who I like. Man do I hate people. Even the ones who are unintentionally funny. In fact, I think they anger me more because the reason I find them funny is either their general stupidity or ignorance.

4 and 12 baby!

Hah...to make things better...apparently Manute Bol has never actually played hockey before or even laced up a pair of skates. It is still uncertain if they can even find equipment large enough for him. Goddamn marketing schemes!!!

Some things are painfully funny. Apparently Manut Bol, who went from humble beginnings in Sudan, to a successfull NBA career, and then to the depths of Celebrity boxing...now is joining a minor league hockey league. If you did not know, Manut Bol is a very frail looking 7'7" black man. ESPN made a little picture to represent how he might look on the ice....apparently he doesn't get to wear hockey gear. =)
