Nothing much to post about lately. Finished my latest project for GRC 156, went to lunch with James today, teen Russian lesbians making out on Jimmy Kimmel tonight, and Mr. Rogers just died.Monday, February 24, 2003
Would have posted about the weekends activities and such but Blogger has been down. I haven't been feeling well (a cold or something) but I went out Friday night with James and we just hung out and watched some TV and shit. My thoughts on David Lynch were reaffirmed after watching the Twin Peaks movie, Fire Walk With Me. What a giant ass piece of shit. Although it had more sex scenes then Mulholland Drive and a plot could possibly be formed, so its probably just a bit better. Saturday James, Singer, Ki, Aaron, and myself went to Chilis to eat before we went to see all 3.5+ hours of Gods and Generals. Of course Aaron/Ki didn't go, but eh whatever. Gods and Generals was good, but it was rather slow and it jumped around alot during some of the battle scenes, confusing who was who. It was a good story revolving mostly around General Stonewall Jackson, and the big name people (Duvall and Daniels) weren't in the movie for more then 20 minutes I'd say. Late Sunday night I went to see Life of David Gale, which also was a good film. It was alot different then the trailers made it out to be and the ending included a few extra scenes that weren't needed (they only showed what people with half a brain should already have figured out)...but it was still enjoyable.
