Ah Friday night. Not quite the same as it used to be. I remember the days of Invisible Man and Farscape on Scifi. Ah the memories. No longer can I relax in the delightfullness of these 2 shows. What do they have now in their place, assblasters apparently. Well not exactly, considering there was none in the show. Goddamn "Tremors: The Series". There really never should have been a 2nd or 3rd movie.
I guess it is good that Ed moved to Friday, giving us something to watch...but then again now there is nothing on Wednesday at 8. I do believe I'm to obsessed with TV.
In any event, Kiefer Sutherland is in this movie called "Freeway", which you'd probably think shouldn't be viewed by anyone. On the contrary, this is perhaps one of the funniest movies ever, and not necissarily for the right reasons. Reese Witherspoon is absolutely vicious in this movie. We also saw "Basic" yesterday. For some reason I want to say it is good, but the more I think about it the less I like it. Samuel L. Jackson is simply the shit as an angry Army Ranger...especially with his cape-like poncho and beret! There's also a scene where Harry Connick Jr. gets smacked in the face Vic Mackey style with a phonebook.
Today James and I will probably end up watching "Men with Brooms" finally, considering we rented it last weekend. Afterwords we have tickets for the Gladiator game. Surprisingly the Gladiator games are fun to go to. Cheap $8 tickets for 2 1/2 to 3 hours of fun. There will be no going to see "The Core".
Ugh, "Free Tang." I suppose someone thinks they are clever. Whatever. I have no interest in going to any lame garage sale.
Why the fuck did Jack in the Box have to go and ruin a good thing? The 99 cent big cheeseburger was so great. Granted now its only $1.29...but its just not the same.
Nothing beats sitting at 10:30am listening to a broadcast of a Detroit am radio station to hear the Redwings game. Speaking of which...we just scored. 1-0 against the Blues. Suck it bitches!

Weekend was fun. Friday was the series finale of Farscape. Wow, shows shouldn't end with the 2 main characters being reduced to ashes. Saturday was myself, James, Aaron and Kiakha seeing Dreamcatcher at Collonade. I didn't know what to expect from the movie, but I had been waiting for it for almost a year because of the cast...what we saw I definetly did NOT expect. I'll be damned if it wasn't highly entertaining though. Then we went to TGI Fridays, where Aaron seemed to be crabby...yay for him. For whatever reason James and I watched Josie and the Pussycats on Stars. Boring. Today James wanted to watch Children of Dune, which I had watched earlier in the week. I love Dune and Children of Dune was pretty good too.
Tonight Michael Moore made a complete ass out of himself while giving his speech after winning an Oscar for best documentary. I dont agree with Michael Moore says, he has alot of flawed logic and really assanine ideas....but what he said on stage was completely wrong. This is the 2nd part of what he said:
"We like nonfiction and we live in fictitious times. We live in the time where we have fictitious election results that elects a fictitious president. We live in a time where we have a man sending us to war for fictitious reasons. Whether it's the fictition of duct tape or fictition of orange alerts we are against this war, Mr. Bush. Shame on you, Mr. Bush, shame on you. And any time you got the Pope and the Dixie Chicks against you, your time is up."
Even liberal anti-war hollywood booed him off stage. What a fucking cocksucker.
