Well hockey season is pretty much over for me. Sure I'll still keep track of what's going on and probably catch a few games, especially all the final games...but I really don't care. My Redwings were completely embarassed. Only consolation is the only other upset was Colorado also losing. I'm not even going to go over my pics from the first round, but there is what I think of the Conferance Semi-finals.

Eastern Conferance

(1) Ottawa vs. (5) Philadelphia
Who will win: Ottawa
Who I want to Win: Ottawa
Series Prediction: Ottawa 4-2
Why: Ottawa is the best team in the NHL this year until someone proves otherwise.

(2) New Jersey vs (3) Tampa Bay
Who will win: New Jersey
Who I want to Win: I like both teams
Series Prediction: New Jersey 4-3
Why: New Jersey is a better team as a whole, although its still Brodeur vs Khabiboulin.

WesternConferance

(1) Dallas vs. (8) Anaheim
Who will win: Dallas
Who I want to Win: Dallas
Series Prediction: Dallas 4-2
Why: Fuck Anaheim. Giguere can't keep it up much longer.

(4) Vancouver vs (6) Minnesota
Who will win: Vancouver
Who I want to Win: Minnesota
Series Prediction: Vancouver 4-3
Why: Go Meatloafs damnit! Vancouver is just too strong offensively, and I think the Colorado series was an even bigger fluke then Detroit/Anaheim.

Yes! The meatloafs (or is it meatloaves?) beat the Colorado Avalanche tonight and eliminated them. It makes Detroit losing a little better, but not much.

Happy Easter or something.

Friday was the usual hanging out with James, except we actually did something besides watch TV and movies....we went to Mickey's and played pool and also ate at Fazoli's. At Fazoli's James forgot how to drink, and spilled down the front of himself, leaving a giant ring shaped mark on his new shirt. Classic shit right there.

Saturday we ended up going to Outback for the first time in awhile. Aaron, Ki, and Brian were also there. Of course though James and Brian bitched out on playing Xbox with us though. We went to 3 blockbusters before finding the new Godzilla game. They raised the prices to $6.39 for a single rental, and they've done away with the 2 day thing for cheaper. Lame. Needing a 4th person though, Ki called up Wolverton who came over with Kristyn and played. It was all Godzilla and Kung Fu Chaos. Kung Fu Chaos had a mini level that rivals our favorite mini-game in Fusion Frenzy. Good stuff. But the night ended relatively early, at about 1ish, because of everyone being surprisingly tired.



I kept forgetting to post that pic, but there it is finally. Apparently there was some fake ad going around including this picture and there was an article about it on Slate. Puma is denying that it was ever something they came up with, but just enough denial to get it even more publicity. Maybe they should use it though...I mean shit if wearing Puma's gets you blowjobs I'll buy a few!
