Friday night was designated as Matrix night, only because it was the only day we could see it when all of us could go. So myself, James, Aaron, Ki, and Colt went to Chili's to eat at 7. We ate, talked, blah blah blah, and then went to Green Valley Ranch sometime between 8:30 and 9. The earliest available showing was 10:30, so we got tickets and attempted to kill the time.
Of course the only thing to do was nothing, or play air hockey. Air hockey just isn't the same if Colt doesn't get hit with the puck in an ackward area, James hurts himself, and we get way to excited about it. All of that happened, so it was good.
At about 9:30 we got in line and waited until they let us in. Got the seats we wanted. 20 minutes later the previews started up. The Terminator trailers just keep getting better.
All in all, the Matrix sequel was enjoyable. It had a few parts that could have been better or weren't necissary, like the giant rave/orgy scene or the incredible fakeness of some of the explosions. But there were some good fight scenes, the flying wasn't nearly as corny as I thought it would be, the twins were badass, Jada Pinkett Smith was barely in the movie, it made fun of the French, there was a wall of tv's with Keanu Reeves screaming 'bullshit', and a few of the new revelations behind how the Matrix works were all good.
Waiting through shitty songs and the longest credits ever didn't quite make waiting for the Revolutions trailer at the end worth it. But at least now we know who the Best Boy Grip Gang Boss is....even if we have no clue wtf a best boy grip gang boss is. Sounds like a fluffer to me.
Random Notes:
The Pistons are in the Conferance finals..w00t w00t!
The Mighty Ducks swept the Meatloafs...
Smirnoff Apple Vodka (or whatever its called) and sprite is surprisingly good...
Colt is trying to get James and I to join him in his little martial arts group so he can beat us up...
Aaron plays airhockey like he's a gay frenchman.
I aced my classes this semester.
This Penny Arcade comic adequatly explains the complexity of the Matrix...LOL.
There was one more note that was the whole point of this last rant, but I forgot it...go figure.

This is such a great picture of "The Answer".

I suppose if you're allowed to travel on every play, charge, and do whatever you want because you're considered a "superstar"...things are easier for you in the NBA. But it was fun watching him shoot 5 for 25 from the field as his team lost to the Pistons tonight.
I just did my exam for my Illustrator class (GRC 156). I needed like a 60% to pass the class, so I took it without studying and still got an 89%. So I passed the class with like a 98%. Good enough for me. I have to submit a website for my other class tomorow and then I'm done for Spring. Even though this has been pretty much a wasted bs semester, I'm glad its over.

Nothing much doing...
Weekend was rather uneventful. Same as Monday. Hung out with James briefly and saw Ravenous. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it might end up being. I find it funny that Robert Carlyle who plays the main "bad guy" and is also in the Full Monty and Trainspotting, will be playing Hitler in an upcoming miniseries. A scottish Hitler!
Colt is back in town for the summer. James is leaving for his 3 week trip to Oregon Saturday morning. Therefore we'll be having a small get together to see the second Matrix movie sometime Friday.
Anyone else thing the new $20 looks stupid?
