Time to recap the weekend...
Instead of the typical Friday where James and I get together and watch Stargate, Monk, and whatever movies, we did something different. Ben jumped online and was talking to me and James and I had planned on going to Memphis Championship BBQ. So the three of us went there. I love their food. Tasty. We ended up eating and talking for close to 4 hours. Well, James did alot of talking. Afterwords James and I did the usual TV and rented Shanghai Knights. I hadn't seen the original, but it was typical Jackie Chan comedy material. It was pretty good. At 2am the first NFL preseason game of the year was on. Bucs vs. Jets in the Tokyo bowl. James wimped out at halftime and that was the end of the night. Granted it was almost 4am. Bucs won.
Saturday I was supposed to help Aaron pick up a tv that someone was giving him, but as it turns out the thing was built into a huge console cabinent that he had no way of transporting or place to put it. So that was scrapped. I had planned on sitting around bored until Colt asked if I wanted to go to Fridays with him and eat. After bugging James for awhile Colt managed to convince him to go as well. I love food. James' Europe trip prevented him from eating. More coaxing was needed to get James to go shoot pool with us.
Of course since I had fun on Friday and Saturday, Sunday was bound to be a giant waste of fucking time. Sure enough it was. I watched a few crappy TV movies during the day and then Pay It Forward at night. Didn't see the ending coming on that one, but I liked it.
