I'm sitting here at work waiting for a bunch of files to upload so I can continue working. For whatever reason my ankle is bothering me. I wonder what this weekend has in store. Could prove to be eventfull but I'm not really looking forward to any of the possibilities actually.
I love this desk I sit at. It's just one of those "cheap" office desks and besides a few shelves and stuff there isn't much to it. But I still like it.
Meh.

Midweek updates are rare now because almost nothing happens. I went to Walmart tonight...ooo wow big deal. The part time job I started a few weeks ago finally moved to the new office. It's about half the distance as the other location which is a big plus, but it's still not that close.
The new And One single "Krieger" is disappointing and with word that Agressor is going to be in all german I'm not holding out on it being any better.

As promised, a recap of recent events:
Thursday was the Evanescence show at HOB. We met up at Chili's for a pre-concert meal which was ok. Scott and Chris ended up going even though they did not yet have tickets for the sold out concert. Also there was Aaron, Ki, and Ki's friend (can't remember exactly what her name is now...oops). After eating and listening to Chris' headlight we headed to Mandalay Bay/House of Blues.
Of course Scott and Chris lucked out, managing to find a guy who was selling a pair of tickets for $30 each. Not only did they get in, but they actually got their tickets for a few bucks cheaper then the rest of us. There were 3 bands playing before Evanescence, and we got in just prior to the 2nd band finishing up their set. Cold went on next and they were mediocre at best. Just another shitty unoriginal rock band. Evanescence did exactly what Aaron and I expected them to do....play all their rock stuff and shy away from their softer ballad-type material from their earlier demos. The show was decent, Amy Lee is/was hot, but the sound levels were a bit off at times. Some guy almost lit Scott's ass on fire. There was a mosh pit for Evanescence but NOT for Cold, which I found odd. The crowd was pretty mixed too. The wannabe punk looking fuckers, the middle school overdressed goth kiddies, and a few middle aged beer belly pervert men.
Following the concert the parking structure was an absolute mess. For whatever reason car's just did not move, and there didn't appear to be a reason why. I was with Aaron and we managed to get out after a short delay, but Chris and Scott got trapped in there for much longer. Eventually we all met up at 7-11 before finally moving on to Aaron's. Not much happened at Aaron's. Some softcore porn on his digital cable, Ki brought out the rats, and some Jack in the Box. The night concluded just after 3am.
Friday was intended to be the late birthday gathering for Aaron's birthday. Of course we went to Outback. The night had a little bit different cast though. James replaced Ki's friend and Brian replaced Scott. As usual Outback was good. James of course was a bitch and didn't feel like spending a few bucks on a meal because of the all mighty Europe trip. Yawn. After overstaying our welcome at Outback we once again moved to Aaron's place. On the way however, Aaron and Chris made a detour to Lee's Discount Liquor while Brian went home. Surprisingly Aaron actually bought something (as did Chris). For whatever reason Chris bought Skyy Blue and Aaron brought Zima. Typical malt beverage shit, although Zima was rather blah tasting and didn't list alcohol content OR ingredients on any of its packaging. I'm pretty sure thats against the law but who cares. Some random tv was watched and Chris also popped in an Xbox demo disc with some trailers and games to play briefly. Scott showed up later to pick up his wallet which he had left in Chris' car or something. Night ended relatively early though, I want to say just after 1ish.
Saturday James and I went to see SWAT at Collonade with Colt since he is leaving early this week. I liked SWAT alot. Not really that much to say about it though. Just an enjoyable movie that seemed more based in reality then say a Bad Boys 2 type film. Went to Fazoli's to eat afterwords. Colt left while James and I went back to his house to watch the Cardinals/Cowboys preseason football game. Shockingly the Cardinals actually won, 13-0. I'd like to think it was all because of Kevin Kasper, who I have now branded as "The Phenom". Friday night tv was watched on Saturday thanks to Tivo.
Now of course today is Sunday. It's probably for the best that there isn't anything happening today. But then again I am so bored out of my mind I just wrote this tediously long post. Blah, it's not like anyone actually reads this anyways so it's just more words going unnoticed.
