Weekend was good.
Friday I picked up Kriss and we met James at McD's for some fast food delight. Bastards didn't have any apple pies though. Afterwords we went to James' to watch the Oregon State vs. Fresno State game. Yawn. Talk about a crap fest. We also watched a pair of tv pilots that never saw the light of day. One was a show based off of the movie LA Confidential and it starred Kiefer Sutherland in the role that Kevin Spacey played. It was very, very boring. I can see why it never did anything. The next one was a pilot for a Fargo tv show, starring Edie Falco of the Sopranos. It was much better then LA Confidential, but it wasn't quite as quirky and fun as the original movie.
Saturday I woke up nice and early to watch the Michigan game. Of course Michigan dominated Houston 50-3. Then I watched a good chunk of other football games throughout the day while I semi-slept. The Oklahoma/Alabama game was decent. I want to say I did something following those games, but I seriously can't remember now. LOL.
Sunday was the first full day of NFL games. Even better was the fact that James' Cardinals were playing my Lions. We ordered Pizza Hut and watched the game. The game was close until the end, going 7-0, 7-7, 14-7, 14-14, and then ending up 42-24 Lions. On the scoreboard the Lions dominated, but the stat sheet shows Arizona having a much better game then the score showed. Oh well, I won. James lost. Booyah. Had it not been for the Green Bay Packers deciding to forget how to play football, James would have went 10 for 10 on his little football card and won $1700. Oh well. =/
